Back Yard living

One of my aspirations is to have an utterly fantastic backyard...for outdoor living and lounging.  I'm seeing that a smaller, quaint yard with maybe a small old brick patio would be the way to go....

Summer Adventure

This weekend (I guess starting today)......
...We are driving to Fresno/Clovis CA
to go to the Mid Cal Tour of Champions DCI Show....

and to take my son to

....Bravo Farms...
Cutest place ever! It is right off the freeway and you would never know it. They have a restaurant, store, animals to feed, pool table, and a whole backyard area where you can eat
your lunch our enjoy your fabulous date shake!! If you get the date shake have them use strawberry icecream...
.....it's amazing!!!

...Also, their cheese it to die for!! Last time we bought the smoke gouda...drooling :)

It's not just a pleasure trip, it's actually part work part fun....
....So we get paid to drive up there to deliver and then get to hand out for a few days!
Should be fun.....9 hrs in a truck though with an 8 yr old could get a little hairy!!!

....Thank god for handheld game systems, I believe we are bringing 4!!
Along with a portable DVD Player, colored pencils/sketch book, and reading books!!.....

I am hoping we get to hit some thrift stores or a flea market....keeping fingers crossed!!

This shall be a memorable summer adventure!!!
